Jeraboam Eco-Lodge
The Cottage
Jeraboam Eco-Lodge has large windows providing sun-filled rooms and spectacular views. The lodge has an open-plan kitchen, lounge room and dining room on the lower floor. There is an open fireplace the lounge room and a slow-combustion stove in the kitchen for cooking, heating and to provide hot water in the cooler months.

The Lodge is "off-grid" and is self-sufficient in power with 2.1 kW of solar panels and 30 kWh of batteries connected through a 2.5 kW inverter. It also has a solar hot-water heater to provide hot water to bathroom and kitchen in the warmer months.
A fully-equipped kitchen contains a wood-burning stove, gas stove, refrigerator, stocked pantry, cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils and pots and pans.
The property has an internet-enabled smart TV with stereo sound bar that plays the TV audio as well as audio from Bluetooth-capable smart phones, tablets, etc.
The Internet is available through the NBN Skymuster satellite service and is distributed through the house by Wi-Fi.

The Lodge comfortably accommodates two couples in two bedrooms. The top-floor master bedroom contains a queen-sized bed and enjoys panoramic views of Mt William and Redman Bluff. The second bedroom, on the lower floor, also with spectacular views, has a double bed.

A small 3rd bedroom/study contains two day beds that can be made up to accommodate two children. There is one bathroom with shower and WC. A paved patio with BBQ and table and chairs is a perfect venue for a late-afternoon family dinner.

A separate, open-plan bungalow accommodates another 2 adults and one child. The bungalow is heated by a small but efficient wood heater.

There is also a large, fenced vegetable garden and orchard. Guests are encouraged to use whatever garden produce and fruit is in season. A large, landscaped dam provides water for the garden and wildlife, as well as swimming, for the brave.
